Beta Testing
Follow these steps to install PinShot Pro via TestFlight and explore its key features.
TestFlight is Apple's official testing platform. You'll need it installed before downloading PinShot Pro.
Open the App Store and search for "TestFlight". Download and install the app published by Apple.
Open the invitation link you received on your iPhone or iPad. Your browser will redirect you to TestFlight automatically.
Tap "Install" in TestFlight. The app will be on your device within a few seconds.
Tap the PinShot Pro icon on your home screen.
On first launch you'll see three short onboarding screens:
Swipe left to advance, or tap "Skip" in the top right. On the last screen, tap "Start Scouting" to go directly to the map.
| Permission | Why it's needed |

| Location | To automatically capture GPS coordinates when you add a pin |
| Camera | To take a photo to attach to a pin |
| Photos | To pick a photo from your gallery |
We recommend allowing all permissions — especially Location, which is required to record coordinates.
The map is the first screen you see when the app opens. From here:

Organize your pins into folders by project, city, or trip.
Want to explore the app right away? Download two ready-made packs of real photography locations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Open these links on your iPhone using Safari and save with "Download":
Files with .pinshot extension are saved to the Files app on your iPhone.
.pinshot file you downloadedYou can import both packs separately. Once imported, you'll see all locations on the map and can browse their notes, tags, and reference photos.
